Gill Associates are on the look out for a person who wishes to train to become a Quantity Surveyor.
The successful candidate will have:
- Completed GCSEs, A Levels, or Level 3 btec Construction and built environment, providing at least 96 UCAS tariff points including English GCSE and Maths GCSE at grade 4 or above
- Be willing to undertake an RICS accredited degree course towards a recognised Quantity Surveying qualification through day release or distance learning
- Have a real interest in the construction industry
- Have excellent numerical, social and written skills
- Be able to work on their own initiative, although supervised initially during training
- Be able to work as part of a small team
- A driving licence is preferable as the role will include visits to sites and offices of others
- Have excellent IT skills with a working knowledge of Word and Excel vital
- A sense of humour would be beneficial
The salary package will be negotiable dependant on the applicant.
